Diva Minerals (Round 2)

So last week I posted about a company called Diva Minerals. Well to my surprise I was lucky to recieve more samples,and let me tell you these are more amazing then the first set and I am so excited to share them with you! Again these shadows are very silky smooth to apply,great coverage and blend very well!
                                                         So on with the good stuff :)

                                                                     "Leading Lady"
At first thought... GLITTER =) While swatching this I was very surprised its a glitter yes,but covers as a shadow.This is very prety and glamouris,reminds me of grounded dirty gold.

                                                                   "Flower Power"
A very sheen purple,theirs no sparkle and I wouldnt say shimmer.Its a very nice finish and the purple is a rich eggplant like purple.

                                                                    "Pretty in Pink"
Gourgious PINK! It also has a sheen,no real shimmer or glitter.But trust me it dont need it at all! Its very hard to describe this color,its just very pretty and girly.

                                                                          "Passion"
Is also a sheen :). Brown with a what looks to be red undertone. I cant wait to pair this with a red shadow =)

                                                                          "Jealous"
A true christmas green,really pretty,covers so so well. You can lighten it with blending or pack it on for a color punch!

                                                                       "Wildflower"
My FAVORITE color by far from Diva Minerals. I own many of eye shadows but none like this. Its a light purple almost pink with a purple/blue shift/sheen. VERY ELAGENT!

                                                                   "Shameless Flirt"
Again at first thought gold flaked glitter,but this covers as a shadow and it a good bit lighter then "Leading Lady". Would be amazing paired together for a nice night out =)

                                                   *Be Looked At,Not Looked Over!!*

Last Week I stumbled upon a (new to me) indie makeup company called Diva Minerals. Her colors seems so warm and inviting I decided I wanted to do a review on them. I contacted the owner (her name is Shannon French) to ask about purchasing samples to review. She was so kind as to just send me 6 samples for this review. As an owner of an indie makeup brand she is very sweet and seems like a joy to work with or order from =). These opinions made are my own and I was not paid in anyway to say or write this,I'd just like to make that clear,I love makeup and I'm quite the fanatic of new to me company's.

Shipping was extremely fast,which I was not expecting since I did not pay for these samples.But never the less,good customer service is good customer service either way!

This is what I was sent,upon receiving my samples was also an ingredient's card as well. I also was a little skeptical about how shimmery/sparkly the colors would be. For me I am mostly a matte's girl but I love shimmery and sparkles on my lid :) These seemed to be just the right amount of both for me.All swatches were over NYX white base and I took many pictures to capture the best picture to product color :)

                                                            Now on to the good stuff :)

 

                                                                       "Sunswept"
This is a beautiful bronze/gold with almost a pink sheen,it reminds me of that color when the sun hits the water in just the right way.Its that color you cant quite explain,but would be great for a romantic night :)

                                                                    "Drama Momma"
A very hard to explain color as well,in the bag this looked to be a red.Its more or a terra cotta,but also has a bronzed red hue to it.Its very metallic and I definitely see myself reaching for this color alot,as I am a big red liker.

                                                                         "Envious"
An olive money mossy green with a gold shimmer.Its very pretty,for myself I'm not a huge greens girl,but for this color I'll make the exception :)

                                                                            "Wink"
For this swatch I did over a white and black base to show you the color shift/sheen. This is a gorgeous shear golden kissed white,over black it gives the appearance of what burnt gold would look like. Over white its more subtle and gives a wonderful golden almost pink sheen. I can wait to pair this with Envious.

                                                                    "Femme Fatale"
Looking at this in the bag it looked to be a pale lilac,but to my surprise it is not even close! This is like a champagne color with the finest silver sparkle. With my tanning and pink undertones its a very shimmery nude on my skin,very femme and gorgeous. Also a wonderful subtle color for a date night.
 

                                          Last but certainly not least in the smallest way...

                                                                    "Bronzed Baby"
This by far has to be the most amazing brown I have ever seen. Its a perfect bronzed color,but this "baby" has a secret (she sheen's silver!) Imagine taking 10k gold dust and adding a hint of .925 silver and you'd have "Bronzed Baby". So unbelievably excited about this color!


I never was a very neutral/earth toned girl (well not since I've learned what color was) but recently I've been adding more warm tones to my looks, As I love black so much it can be very cold and these colors will warm up anything they are paired with. If you love earth tones or just warm colors check out Diva Minerals, the owner is a big sweetheart and the colors are just as sweet to follow. They are very silky and cover so so well. Extremely pigmented and blend very well. Where has this company been hiding? I'm not sure but I am very glad to have come across,and can not wait to share my looks with these. I will definitely be placing an order very soon :)

I feel like I have not done a blog post in forever,wait that's because I haven't lol.. Soo I guess it's time to get ta' work! I'll be posting more and more now,I think iv finally figured out how to manage my time the right way that is... So later today be looking out for a few post:-)

Ok so I'v been trying to down size my colors that are all alike.. This is what I have so far,I'm open to offers as well and swaps.. Depending what it is..

The only reason I am ridding myself of these is due to the fact that I have very simular colors or products,some I bought and just did not like the color for me,and the lip products I just dont use lip stuff in general usually..

All the pictures were taken before I cleaned everything up very well and sealed it all.. I have not put my brush or fingers in anything I always use a small cosmetic spoon to get product out :)

Recently I became a Addictionista for my pretty little addiction,an up and coming company with amazing products. A handful for beautiful ladys and myself were choosen to test and promote for this company. I was sent 18 full sized eyeshadows and eye primer.. The eye primer came in stick form which is great,because I dont care for the tubes that squeeze or placing my finger or brush into a jar. Shipping was very fast and arrived in great shape! My first reaction was o my these colors are so bright,I wasnt too sure if I'd even want to wear them.. Then.. I tryed them,and it was love at first use,they go on like velvet and cover amazingly... I soon found myself only wearing these shadows and loving it! I cant wait to see what all the owner has to come up with because so far its been an awsome experience  being able to be apart of this great group of ADDICTIONISTAS!!

              A beautiful orange,I'm not a huge orange girl but I know I can make this work :)

 This is a cut between red and mauve,it goes great with a smokey eye and well just about anything  very very pretty..pictures do no justice for this color

                                 This is more or the paliest pink color,very light and pretty..

Sneaky Smurfberry,you can build and vuild for the darkness you'd like,breath taking color from this blue/green/teal :)

           Another very hard color to get the right picture of,this instantly reminded me of koi's

          After Dark is one of my favorites,this is a black with a sheen.. and extreemly dark :)

                              Light purple,this color reminds me of cotton candy,very pretty!

                       A cross between a almost black/blue/teal versatile and simply amazing

                                                     Its yellow,its gold its beautiful!

OK.. Dirty Gold.. To explain this color from someone who isnt a very big liker of browns or gold.. I CANT GET ENOFE OF IT! its a dirty brown color with gold "flakes" in it,I used this on a smokey eye and now I find myself reaching for it more and more.

Ok first thought.. this is not really a "peach" color,but thats because it was named after a chinese pastry.. very pretty

This is a true purple,it dont throw blue or pink its just well purple.. on my ravens football sundays this will be my color :)

This is a simple color,but very true to the name. Autumn sunsets are gold,brown,copper,red, gorgiousness and this is your autumn sunset in a jar to use and relive anytime youd like

This color reminds me of new years,when that ball drops and its a new year,all the colors you see coming from the lights..

At first I thought this was a neon,its SO SO bright,I was most impressed with this color,as I love my pinks and this will probly be empty very soon ;)

A Shimmery white,great for an inner eye pop or highlight.. I'v even used this as the highlighter on my cheek bone!

This is like taking the color of cotton candy (the kind before they had all the other colors) and turning it into pure sparkles but so fine that it becomes a pigment,very very shimmery and bright catches every bit of light it can its quite a odd ball of all the color I own in general. No other color I'v came across is quite this pretty

And this would be my second fav. color of the bunch,even tho I seem to love them all.. I am a black girl and this color is a black/blue/brown mix of amazingness..with just the right amount of sparkles to catch the light and really make a statement:)
